Sweat and Gears Generosity amongst brethren is an unspoken mandatory code of conduct in the bike world. Billy Lane, one of the worlds most prolific bike fabricators had this in mind when he embarked on the nationwide tour, Blood, Sweat & Gears. Lane, along with prominent friends Kendall Johnson, Paul Cox, Aaron Greene, and Mondo Porras, rolled into town at the major bike rallies, unfolded a 53ft long stage, and proceeded to customize choppers in front of live audiences. Lane's ambition was to give something back to another breed defined by loyalty, the members of the US Armed Forces. In a stunning tribute to those who risk their lives for our freedom, Billy and crew gave the resulting masterpieces away to soldiers in the audience. |

Nathaniel Eyde UNION GUYS Union Guys started as a short play being performed in New York. Inspired by the very real Detroit Newspaper Strike, it has since been adapted into a short film and a feature-length screenplay. The film's relevance to the struggle of labor unions is more prominent than ever before, with the recent wave of challenges to unionized labor across the country. At its core, the story is about a few men and their struggles with loyalty to each other, to themselves, and to their jobs. In the broader scheme, this is a story about America, about immediately relevant current events, and about the complexity of fighting for any cause. |
