As a filmmaker, Patrick is a member of IFP/LA and the Los Angeles Filmmakers Network. While a resident of New York, Patrick wrote, produced and acted in SO, WHAT'S IN JERICHO? a suspenseful dark comedy short project which has screened in New York City at New Filmmakers at Anthology Film Archives and as part of the Soka Gakkai International's Arts Division Festival. It has also screened at the Knitting Factory Hollywood's Independent Film Series and Cinespace in Hollywood.
Patrick moved to the LA area in 2000. In 2004 he wrote and produced his directorial debut, a film/theater industry short comedy HOLLYWOOD THE HARD WAY also enjoyed a big screen premiere in NYC at New Filmmakers. His current project as writer, producer, director is another short comedy entitled THE SHABBOS BIGFOOT and has a scheduled completion date of March 2006.
Because NewFilmmakers at Anthology Film Archives served as an invaluable venue for screening his work and educating Patrick in guerillla filmmaking, he is proud to help carry the torch in Los Angeles for NewFilmmakers LA.
