For many filmmakers we are the starting point on the festival trail. For others we are the first New
York screening after many screenings in regional markets. Many well-known shorts and features
including Blair Witch and Too Much Sleep have had their initial screenings at NewFilmmakers and many
filmmakers who started out at NewFilmmakers have gone on to successful careers.

NewFilmmakers offers you a number of tools to promote your upcoming screening and to reach
audiences, critics, and distributors:

• Our Email Bulletin reaches 25,000 people with information about all the films screening that week and inexpensive advertising in it will highlight your screening.

• An Ecard reaches the same 25,000 people with more information about your film at a reasonable cost. Great way to invite people to your screening and a reception.

• Receptions are great way to make increase attendance at your screening. We can set up a table in the lobby area free of charge and you supply wine / beer or anything else.

• Press Kits go out every week to local print and online media. We prepare a weekly Press Release with information about all the upcoming films and events. You can add your press material / press kits free of charge. We have developed special mailing lists for Latino, Gay Lesbian and other special interest screenings.
