Robert Janz has been making kinetic artwork for over five decades. He has worked in the natural environment, and shown in prestigious galleries and world class museums. Interested in transience and change, his most extreme projects are water drawings whose evaporation through time is the work. JANZ : In the Moment picks up his story as he turns eighty, when he begins to work in the streets of New York city, interacting with the graffiti and allowing city processes to erase his art. The film introduces the photographers and bloggers who post images of street art on the internet, communicating instantly to a worldwide audience the changing work.
