In the near future, society has advanced to the point of self-aware artificial intelligence living side by side with humans. Much of society has come to accept the newfound entities known as Daegans, however, some powerful individuals still very much resent the robotic species due to the loss of workplace opportunity for pure humans. Part of a highly covert, anti-terrorism unit known as NEST, two Daegans (Sophia Lauren, Maddy Walther) are given a mission to track down a ruthless criminal (Ian Murphy) infuriated by the government’s corruption and mistreatment of the Daegan species.
